Got a girl crush on: Dan-ah Kim’s Daughters of the Blue Sky

Dan-ah creates exquisite scenes you wish you could live in. The first word that popped into my head when I saw Dan-Ah Kim’s work on my love for you was “lovely”. These images are lovely. The subjects are lovely. The craftsmanship is lovely. The feeling I get is lovely.

Her “Daughters of the Blue Sky” series is currently on display this month at Metropolis in Lancaster, PA. Her multi-talents shine through in the combined use of collage, stitching and illustration in her pieces. You can also see her work in Asobi Seksu’s video for “Me & Mary”.
