Slavic melancholity and pure Scandinavian moods with white arctic summer nights and winter sadness
Ivana Helsinki’s new website = brilliant. The link above is the Finnish fashion house’s own description of itself. Esoteric as it might be I could live within Helsinki’s world forever…slavic moods and all. Each collection has its own small story from which it draws its inspiration. Some of my favorites:
Knives&Feathers,Loghouse Lover, Diamond Stripes & Revolver, and this season’s collection called LonelyTiger (from which this photo is taken).
The line itself is by Finnish designer Paola Ivana Suhonen, who has apparently found the secret to sustaining the late sixties forever. All of which beggs the question - how can I finally find that elixr?
