I live in a life of curiosity in Brooklyn and churn out digital ideas at Undercurrent.
(Modern Drift, Efterklang)
I’m in love with this Danish band I found on thesixtyone.com, (which you should check out now; it’s my new favorite place to discover music).
See and hear more of them at http://efterklang.net/
This video in particular is wonderful, wonderful - especially for a city girl with the woods in her heart.
Just watched this video 4 times…Reminds me of the wilder times in the digi lab *and beyond* at Kenyon

Cardena’s piece above is just one of MANY housed on the gallery site, “an independently run gallery for artists from all over the world… founded online, in 2001, to showcase the work of friends and others who wanted to experiment with new forms of communication.”
THe website covers all exhibitors back to 2001 plus an news blog that covers notable goings on in art world…including an interview with Bran Dougherty-Johnson founder of the short animated film collective psst that most recently screened a selection at galapagos art space in DUMBO.
I have been on this site for about and hour and it’s nice out…and a holiday….so its really that good.
Branislav Kropilak’s sets of empty spaces (garages, gas stations, lobbies) are ghostly beautiful.
just one of many wonderful shots by Kayon on Flickr. I’ve been following her stuff for a while - worth a glance for sure.
I recently became completely obsessed with this free online site that lets you create customized word clouds from any collection of words or a website….beautiful, insightful…an amazing tool to visualize data.
